If God is for us, who can be against us? (Romans 8:31)

You've heard it said, "God and me make a majority." Well, it's true; it doesn't take a lot to make a majority. The Word of God is replete with examples of small majorities; Gideon is just one example(Judges 7:2).

As Christians, we have learned to put our trust in the Lord; we are secure in knowing that God is in control of everything. True Christians don't have an inferiority complex - we know in whom we have believed (II Tim. 1:12).

There is a difference between confidence and arrogance. "I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me" (Phil. 4:13) is a statement of the grace of God working in us enabling us to do the impossible.

You may be facing less hours, less money, and less friends, but remember Who's side your on!

"The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty.." Zepheniah 3:17

"..Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you." Hebrews 13:5

Satan’s number one effort against the church today is to attack its unity. God’s Word compares unity to the anointing of the High Priest. No other example of anointing touched the heart of God’s people more than what is associated with the consecration to the highest office of their faith.

Kings, prophets, and priests were anointed upon entering their office, but Chrisians are also anointed to the service of God. The believer is God’s royal priesthood today (I Peter 2:9), and the anointing oil is the Holy Ghost.

The anointing which consecrated kings, prophets, and priests was symbolic of the outpouring of the Holy Ghost that would come upon the church in the last days (Joel 2:28,29). It is only through the Holy Ghost that a believer can be anointed and set apart to the service of God.

The early church was powerful because of Holy Ghost anointing - that anointing produced unity, and invited the blessings of God. The church grew rapidly with signs and wonders following. Blessings were a normal part of daily church life, because wherever God’s Spirit is poured out blessings will follow!

But like the first century church, today's church is being attacked with division. If we don't unite, our powerful church can be turned into one of mere religious form, and not faith (II Tim.3:5).

It's God's will for brothers & sisters to live in unity - Jesus prayed for His church to be one (John 17:20-22), because that is the only place He will send His blessing.

Good To Be In God

What a wonderful time to be living for the Lord. I believe these to be the last days - maybe even months or years, but without a doubt, His coming is near.
